I teach maths and numeracy up to and including National 5 / GCSE level.

Whether you are struggling, needing help with catching up, wanting to get to grips with those bits of maths that have always seemed puzzling, or simply looking for a challenge I’m here to help.

We all see and understand things differently and therefore we don’t all learn in the same way or relate to the same approach. I love the challenge of working to find the ways of learning that suit each pupil.

I often work with people with maths anxieties or dyscaculia type difficulties or people who simply haven’t got on well with school or the way they have experienced maths so far. I’m very happy to work with school refusers and those educated outside the regular school system.

I work creatively, patiently, sensitively and respectfully, aiming to reduce stress and ease the relationship with maths and numbers. I work with adults and children over 7 years. No prior experience or ability necessary. The only requirement is to be keen to improve. Fees on request – special arrangements available for those on low incomes.

Most lessons are currently online, limited face to face availability in Perth

(UK).
